Overview

Radium's Pasturators were originally designed with dairy farms in mind, to break up compaction just below the grazing plane on planted pastures. However, the Pasturator works equally well in other applications, such as natural pastures and instant lawn, as well as for small-scale ripping operations. With coulters positioned in front of each shank, the shanks are designed to pass through the pasture beneath the surface, lifting the soil below the grazing and/or pasture, without causing any damage to the surface crop. The roller passes behind the shanks, firming out the surface and closing up any furrows left by the shanks. The regular use of a Pasturator reduces compaction caused by livestock and vehicle movement over pastures and lands; it improves root development and crop yield; it increases water movement and penetration; and it aerates the soil.
